Introduction to MSE-CS program

About the program
The Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science (MSE-CS) is a two-year program fully taught in English, open to Italian and foreign students. MSE-CS program offers scholars the opportunity for advanced study in the scientific and technical foundations of the rapidly growing field of computer science. MSE CS students can pursue many areas within their curriculum: pervasive systems, system security, information management, social networks, high performance computing and web science.

The program aims to train software specialists in those areas through a curriculum that enables to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the development of computer systems and software applications in different phases of production and service. MSE-CS Program prepares our students to be tomorrow's innovators, leaders, and visionaries.

The completion of the Master's course requires a total of 120 credits (ECTS), divided into core courses, advanced courses, seminars and a Master's thesis.

The Master's course is open to students with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (Laurea Triennale in Ingegneria Informatica), Computer Science (Laurea Triennale in Informatica)or other degrees with a strong background in mathematics and computer science; e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.

 

The Application period is open till:

- April 17th, 2017 (Non-EU residents)

- September 4th, 2017 (EU-residents)
