There is no compulsory attendance except for laboratory work or other practical activities. For the admission to the second year, a student must have earned at least 30 credits. No preparatory exams or courses are needed.

Rules for Students enrolled in previous years

Student already enrolled to the Master?s course in the Faculty of Computer Engineering before the academic year 2008/2009, can request a transfer to the current Master?s course following the regulation DM270/04 (Ordinamento 270) by presenting the proper form for the Board of Studies (Consiglio degli Studi) within the deadline set by the Faculty. In the application, the student  must self-certify the exams passed for which they are requesting recognition. The Board will then decide which exams and credits will be recognized.

Students intending to transfer to the Master of Science in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, after completing the administrative procedures, must submit an application to the Board (Consiglio d?Area) to define the study plan, which, whilst respecting the educational content of the MSE in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, will take into account the courses a student has already completed.
